Boston Marathon Preview - who's gonna win it?!

The 2018 Boston marathon is going to be one of the most hotly contested for some time.

Defending champion, Geoffrey Kirui will line up against America’s Galen Rupp, the 2017 Chicago Marathon winner. If that wasn’t enough to whet the appetite, there are an additional eight men who have all run sub 2:07!

The women’s race might be even more intriguing. Four of the USA’s best ever marathon women go head to head: American record holder, Deena Kastor, Desiree Linden (2:22:38), Serena Burla who ran 2:26:53 in Osaka last year and 2017 NYC Marathon Champ, Shalane Flanagan. But, as if that wasn’t interesting enough, a real point of interest will be Molly Huddle who is racing her first marathon. Molly is the US record holder over 10k and the half marathon so could she upset the form book?
