Full-length EVERUN midsole is the TPU-based material from chemical company BASF (adidas BOOST). Here it comes in a more stable package, with a small plastic medial post to steady it up a little and control pronation (just a touch).
It's a very llexible shoe and thus gives the impression that it wants to go fast! When it does it actually feels better.
The Saucony Liberty ISO is a lightweight shoe with a good amount of stability, delivering a fast feeling shoe without compromising your over pronation. This shoe is perfect for the mild over-pronator wanting something faster feeling. It's not the most supportive shoe around, the medial post section acting as much to stabilise the flexible nature of the cushioning as much as it is to control pronation.
Although an update it remains very familiar and largely unchanged from the previous version. Full length EVERUN midsole offers a responsive ride that's very smooth and relatively stable.
The upper was already well made and nicely finished, this simply updates it and improves it, offering a slightly enhanced fit and finish around the heel collar.
The Liberty sits in that lightweight trainer category alonside the less stable but great, Kinvara 11.
The midsole is a full EverRun construction. The TPU pellet based material offers a highly responsive and smooth ride.
The brand's upper is as you'll expect, soft, breathable mesh with a slightly padded construciton. It wraps the foot well, especially around the arch and provides a stable fit.
Low profile, crystal rubber type material that offers very durable performance and excellent traction given its low-profile design.
It's a lively feeling shoe, very resposnive and cushioned enough for general use as well as feeling able to push the pace on tempo runs, fartlek or even a race. The stability of the shoe isn't going to control severe over-pronation but it's stable enough for most, especially given that as with a faster paced shoe, you should be a little more mid to forefoot focussed anyway, thus negating too much roll.
Full-length EVERUN midsole provides enhanced energy return as well as sufficient cushioning.
Medial TPU Guidance Frame uses a firm plastic piece on the inside of the shoe to help prevent overpronation and give the flexible midsole a little stability.
Tri-Flex Crystal Rubber helps increase flexibility and durability of the shoe.
